Love the Bald Mountain loop. I almost never run into anyone on the trails, which is shocking because they are right outside of Rutland and have great views!
Might be a good Idea to let people who do not know that this is an extremely locals area with inquiries being pushed off by locals and finally admitting that it is " probably not a good idea for me to go there" (wife of one of the hunters) as many local families have hunting camps in there this time of year and do not smile upon "they get a little wierd". I respect that it is a local hunting area but all should now this before walking in there at least in Ocotober/ November. Other hiking in Rutland area was fun.
